Removed case and glass from LCD as Apple Support want. Problem still persists. I found that turning ON VoLTE helps! As long as phone is connected via LTE there is no echo; when it switch to 3G - it starts echoing. My carrier told me to turn off VoLTE. That that's all what they can do...
What kind of phone to you have. I have a pro max which worked for it
If all these people, including my wife's iPhone 1, have this problem, why isn't APPLE responding to this problem? Do they not care? Do they want us to move over to Samsung???
Obviously he meant iPhone 11.
Why is it obvious? You know what they say about assume.
IOS 13.3.1
and i have this problem on my Iphone 11
Just got my phone 3 days ago and when I checked my software update said I was up to date with 13.3.1. But everyone I talk to in speaker phone complains about the echo.
I have the same issue... people ask me if i am in a bathroom... $1200.00 phone and it echos? I am thinking of going with a Samsung next time.
My wife has the iPhone 11 Pro, having the same issues. However, it's not on every call and mostly when she is on speakerphone. We are on Verizon and have the latest iOS firmware. Looks like a software issue, what's Apple doing to fix this?
My husband and I both having the same issue- with our brand new IPhone 11 pro max phones. This is very frustrating given that this is quite expensive to have these issues. Please Apple fix this!! We have also tried all the fixes.
Wow, this is ridiculous! I came to see if anyone else had the echo problem and I seen there are a lot of people who also bought the iPhone 11 Pro Max and have the echo issue. With the extensive amount of people with the same issue with their newest model you would think there would already be a fix. I also have Verizon, but I see the carrier is not the issue because all different services have the same problem. This is so annoying!
This iPhone 11 ProMax echos all the time on speaker for the receiver of the calls on the phone. I’ve documented 12 separate calls where this has happened. I am deeply disappointed in Apple for not responding to this massive issue.
Hi everyone -
Last night I reported that the online Apple Support staffer acknowledged that this was a known issue and scheduled an appointment for him for today at our local Apple Store. The assumption on both ends of the phone was that his phone would need to be swapped out.
When he arrived at the store the guy checking people in said that this is the first he has heard of this, and if this is a real problem he would have heard all about it. However, when my husband got to the person at the Genius Bar who was assigned to assist him, he was told by that guy that this is a VERY well known problem, lots of people have this problem with their new phones including him ("we are all in this together"), it is NOT a hardware problem, they are working on a fix, and the next software release, coming in the next day or so, will NOT have the fix for this problem. So a trip for nothing except to know that "we are not alone".
I just spent an hour on the phone with a senior tech at apple. THey looked up this forum and are taking notes. She heard the echo while talking to me and had my phone send her the logs of our conversation. SHe said she would email me tonight or call me back in the morning and tell me what the engineer is saying to do. They appear to be getting more calls about this so we need to keep at it to solve the problem. I'm not getting the echo on my air pods too so the problem is progressing on my end. We checked every setting she told me to turn off the noise cancellation button and that did nothing. I really hope they figure this problem out. She also mentioned a new SIM card but then read in this forum that didn't help.
Hey everyone, I talked to a senior a few hours ago. They are aware of the issue, but honestly, I don’t think they intend on fixing it. The senior told me to try using my phone without a case (which I will never do with a 1,000 phone). A case should not be the problem for this issue. The advisor was extremely nice, but I’m still right at square one. They told me to try turning my volume down or having the receiver turn their volume down. Again, this is ridiculous and you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to make a phone call on a phone that costs 1,000+ dollars. Ahh😕
I have the same issue with the iphone 11 Pro Max
Every single person I call immediatley asks me to take my phone off the speaker.
I reached out to Apple Care and was advised that they are aware of the issue and have sent a message to engineers. I was told it might be a software issues and they do not have an estimated time of resolution.
As of now, Apples response is "Oh Gee, that is really frustrating but we have no solution and a replacement probably wont solve your problem"
So Basically its a $1,600 phone with no speakerphone capabilities...
I explained to the representative that if they are not able to resolve this issue I would like a refund on my purchase and I was advised that I can call back and follow up, if the issue does not resolve by the next update.
