The notes app high CPU usage after updating to Catalina

I updated to Catalina and when I use the notes app, it would often use more than 100% of my CPU usage and make my fan go crazy. I never had this problem before I updated to Catalina. Is there a way to fix this?

My MBP specs:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012).

2.9 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
