I updated to Catalina and when I use the notes app, it would often use more than 100% of my CPU usage and make my fan go crazy. I never had this problem before I updated to Catalina. Is there a way to fix this?
My MBP specs:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012).
2.9 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Okay I fixed it on my own. Here's how I did it:
System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud > Apps on this mac using iCloud > deselect Notes > select Notes > Wait for the Notes app to sync all my notes > Problem fixed

Had the same problem. I let it go for a few minutes and everything went back to normal afterwards.
