Mac Os Catalina do not sync photos with iOS Devices

Im using Mac OS Catalina 10.15, I have my photos on the Photos App, (I do not use iCloud photos).

To sync the photos, I connect the iPad to the Mac, open Finder (Since iTunes is gone), select the iPad from (locations) go to the right and click on Photos, select the albums and then hit sync. All the photos are not synced and apparently it syncs the albums under the root "My Albums" but is not able to sync the albums that are inside a folder.

Hello All!

After almost 6 months this is finally solved.

Today updating to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 it worked with the following devices:

iphone 11 pro iOS 13.4
ipad ProiOS 13.4

So, this is still happening with the latest iOS and macOS as has been happening since the macOS 10.15 / iOS 13 releases started. Instead of Catalina, Apple should have called 10.15 "Dumpster Fire"

Same here, same problem with iPhone (and Apple TV), two calls with Apple, second one for 2 hours, up to expert support level, but they are now aware of this problem.

I never had that problem with iTunes.

They need to fix it because probably all users are effected, and the Apple TV system, too.

So I will stay optimistic :-)

This whole situation is appalling and so typical of the 'new' Apple! That is, the Apple that downgrades something every time they do a supposed 'upgrade'!

Yes, taking away functionality should not be a by-product of an upgrade. Being able to sync my pictures, stored on my iMac, to all my i-devices, is crucial for me.
