Handoff workin only from iOS to Mac ut not vice-versa

Hi,

I've just updated my MacBook to macOS Catalina (10.15) and my iPad Air 2 to iPad OS 13.1.2 and iPhone XS Max to iOS 13.1.2 ;

Handoff is working correctly from iPhone / iPad to Mac, unfortunately not vice-versa.

It's also working correctly from iPhone to iPad and vice versa.

Any help ?

Hello K1200R,

Thanks for posting to the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like Handoff is not working from Mac to the iPad and iPhone. I'll help in any way I can.

These steps can help:

Double-check the Mac meets the system requirements for Handoff: System requirements for Continuity on Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch
Make sure your Apple ID isn't blocked on any of the devices. iOS: Settings > Phone > Blocked. Mac: Messages app > Messages menu > Preferences > Blocked
Restart both devices. For the Mac, this will be in the Apple () menu then Restart. For the iPad and iPhone: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Restart your network. If you need help with this step, contact your Internet Service Provider.
Turn Handoff off then on with each device: Use Handoff to continue a task on your other devices
Toggle Bluetooth off and back on for both. iPad and iPhone will be in Settings > Bluetooth. Mac will be in System Preferences > Bluetooth.
Forget the Wi-Fi network and add it again on all devices: How to forget a Wi-Fi network on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac
Reset the user permissions that can cause issues with connection: Resolve issues caused by changing the permissions of items in your home folder
Test in another user account: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac
- If the issue doesn't happen in a new user, try removing the login items on your current user: Open items automatically when you log in on Mac

I had the same problem and have followed the steps detailed here for Solution#1: https://www.igeeksblog.com/universal-clipboard-not-working-between-mac-and-iphone/

It worked wonders, I don't remember continuity and handoff working so well. Contrary, after just installing Catalina it did not work at all no matter what i have tried..
