TV & Music Apps not working properly After Catalina upgrade

Hi All,

After upgrade my MacBook Pro (Mid 2014) to Catalina the TV App not showing the content properly & Music App iTunes store is blank (Attached Screenshots). How to fix these issues?

I left it running for over 8 hours just to see if it would eventually completely load but it did not. I do have an excessively large library stored on an external HD mounted to the system but that never seemed to bother iTunes so not sure why it would matter now. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

Macbook Pro: Apple TV App won't Stream Macbook info: Model A1502, EMC 2835 Ever since iTunes went away and was replaced by Apple TV app, I've had problems streaming my movies/tv series/etc. At first it was only a few movies from my list, but it has progressively gotten worse and I cannot stream the majority of my library. Over $2500 worth of content and most of it I cannot access. When I try to start a movie, it goes to the player and has a solid black screen. The timer shows the full movie length, but the play bar doesn't have a "loaded" color indicator and the movie stays at 00:00. Some movies I can do a workaround on. For example, I can still select the "extras" button which loads properly into the movies extras options. Bonus clips and features load properly. Some movies, such as Avengers: Infinity War, give the option for "Movie Selection" then "Play Movie" and it works! BUT, if I choose the standard "Play" option on the main extras screen, I'm met with the same black screen and no loading. Everything is up to date, parental controls are off, I've logged out and back in to my Apple ID, I've removed and reauthorized the device, I've gone into advanced settings and reset the cache/play history/warnings. I have no issues whatsoever using other streaming services. At this point I've stopped purchasing from their Apple TV app store until this gets resolved... but I can't even find a reporting method for apple apps (only 3rd party apps). Refunds on my library purchases are not available. Any help would be appreciated.

Apple TV App on MacOS (Monterey) does not play content Hi, The Apple TV app on my MacBook ((Intel Pro 16") running the latest OS-version (Monterey) refuses to play content all of a sudden. The app itself does start normally, it shows me the movies/series/... it even knows the "status" (watched episodes) of the series I've (partially) watched, but when I try to actually start streaming content nothing happens! I can't play one single piece of content (movies, episodes of series, stuff from my local library, trailers) all of a sudden (started acting last week. It looks like something is messed up in my (local or iCloud) account as when I log in as another user on this very same laptop and then start the Apple TV app, I am able to start streaming (only tested it with a trailer as that other account is not attached to an iCloud ID so I can't play any subscription content). Problem is I don't know what - already cleared the TV app's cache and settings (which is really painful as it also removed your viewing history :( ) but it didn't help. Don't think it is iCloud related either as I am able to watch content on my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV device. Brings me to the conclusion that something is messed up in the settings in my MacBook account - if I only knew where to look for. Anybody else in here experienced the same. Any advice? Rgds, Jan.

After long investigation I discover the problem

It is from Kaspersky Internet Security protection

If I turn the protection off everything works fine

I just discovered that if I logout from Apple ID and restart my MacBook the TV app working properly

how strange is this issue.

Anybody knows what's the problem ???
