How to update existing iPhone apps without entering apple id

I have my iPhone 8 running iOS 13.1.2 set for manual app updates. I like check updates daily. When I manually select each individual update, everything works fine. But, when I select "Update All", I am asked to enter mu Apple ID & password. WHY!!! This is extremely frustrating to me. I cannot find any settings to turn this off. I'm NOT purchasing a new app, just updating my existing/purchased apps. Has anyone else seen this and figured out how to remove the credential request?

Is there any chance these apps were purchased/downloaded with an Apple ID that is different from the Apple ID you use on the iPhone currently?
