Apple Pay notifications

Having just updated to iOS 13.1.2 I am now getting a red notification in settings which leads to a request to set up Apple Pay. This I most certainly do not want to do. Thing is, I can't work out how to get rid of this maddening notification that seems stuck there permanently . This is so irritating , does anyone know of a simple way to stop this happening?.

I do not want to set up Apple Pay but can’t see any option to bypass this or remove the reminder notification. Apple Pay Reminders I just updated my iPhone 11 Pro Max to iOS 15, and aside from the minor and needless changes to the lock screen, I am periodically getting a notification from the Wallet App to add a credit card. The red notification bubble does not go away. I have never and will never use Apple Pay. I don't care how secure it may be, or how convenient it may be I have no desire to use that feature and I am getting tired of seeing the notification pop up 5 times a day. I have looked through the settings and can't find anything about disabling anything to do with the wallet. Is there a way to disable and turn that off or is this another case of Apple telling people what they should really be doing with their phone?

Apple pay I have 10 notifications that payments ‘are in progress ‘. But they have been paid already for a long time ago. My Bank says ‘ask apple’. How can I delete those notifications?

Go ahead and select the option to set it up and then on the next screen select to skip or cancel or set up later (I can't remember the exact wording). After that the notification will go away.
