Turn off screen.

Hello!
I have a question! If I press the power button on my iPhone when I try to lock the screen, it will not respond immediately after pressing, and the screen will darken later.
What could be the reason?

My iPhone XR has the screen visible when is off i have a iPhone XR and when I turn it off sometimes it’ll go a bit darker but I can still see my screen and even when I hit the turn off button or volume button they don’t work, it still turns off in a second though, do you have any answers and could it mean some part of my phone is hacked or is it nothing to worry about? My iPhone screens will off and on back immediately without affecting what I am doing Please help me , who is experiencing stiffs like this .. ON My iPhone 13pro max .. the screen just go off dark and on back immediately

Are you pressing and holding or are you tapping it and releasing quickly?
