Apple Mail removed the columns!

Where did my columns go? Why does Apple think that I don't change the size, position, display of my columns in Mail? Why does Apple think that the programmer knows how it should be displayed? I want control over the way I use the columns! I want to be able to decide what is sorted when and to easily switch back and forth without the added drop down menu crap! Come on??? Really??? And "Trash" becomes "Bin?" I hope that justified some over paid, stock optioned, self-pat-on-the-back, manager a great deal of money. Don't you remember Window's 98 and the brouhaha over "Recycle Bin" versus Apple's "Trash."

Everyone has been telling men for ages to use Outlook instead of Mail.

I'm going to take their advice.

I'm bitterly disappointed in Apple.

Catalina is a massive letdown, and I wish I'd never "upgraded" to it.

Normally, I'd agree. But I don't think that users that are not ******** LOUDLY about this craziness (and we all know that Mail is the tip of a very large iceberg) should get much more than "lemming". Besides, lemmings are pretty cool beasts and nothing like the disney movie where some guy is actually KICKING THEM OFF THE CLIFF!. So let's allow for some "consternation" like the term "lemmings" and focus on the real goal: Slowing down the idiocy in Apple's stuff.

How about starting with forcing me to "log in" to my own machine with no option to NOT. Face recognition, fingerprint ID, etc are coming. You won't be able to use a device without bio lockdown. You aren't doing anything to slow it down.

And I won't be resistant when my staff ask for Windows computers instead of Macs in future.

Bogus answer and Bogus suggestion to change mail client programs; quite frankly "mail is no longer suitable for your needs" is a dismissive response. I do know how to use the program and I did select column layout. Trouble is, no column headings display or can be resized, sorted, etc.

They can't both be better. One is better and one is worse. And the one that is worse is Mail. So why did they make it worse?

I have no use for columns in either.
