MacOS Catalina could not be verified
I have downloaded the new updates and both the time I got the error, Don't know what to do now, and I'm unable to update my MacBook Air

Safe mode = shut down MacBook Air, press and hold left side shift key, depress power key to power up Mac book air [no need to hold down], when the apple logo shows on screen release the shift key. Once Mac book air is up download the Catalina OS.
Took about an hour to download over broadband [24M download].
