Can't choose a song as an alarm

Ever since updating to iOS 13, I can no longer choose music as an alarm sound. If I choose a song, it defaults to the Radar sound. I've tried different songs, different alarm times, etc. Even after the last few updates to iOS 13, nothing has changed. It's maddening!

I see that you're no longer able to play a song as an alarm sound in the Clock app of your iPhone. It reverts to a built-in tone instead, and I'm glad to help.


Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books -- If it's a song you purchased from iTunes, try re-downloading the song and test.


Add and download music from Apple Music or the iTunes Store -- If you subscribe to Apple Music, you need to download the song file to your phone as the Clock application can only play downloaded music.
