Is there a way to access all my old photos on iPhoto?
I recently upgraded my computer and didn't realize iPhoto would no longer be supported. Can I somehow retrieve my pictures?

Yes.
iPhoto was replaced by Photos more than four years ago. Photos comes with the OS and can easily migrate an iPhoto Library:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch Photos. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and point at your iPhoto Library. It will do the rest.
