IOS 13.1.3 battery drain

Well I guess another update, another waste of time as the bugs on the iPhone XR are still there. Weird battery drain. IT SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN A DAY'S LIFE OF BATTERY. I had to change my device for another one and its the same problem. When will apple wake up and start fixing this important battery drain issues. Apple support is stating a ' Hardware Problem' No I don' think so as everyone is complaining on these pages about how bad the software is and need a fix. My battery is at 100% capacity. It is a problem with the SOFTWARE. Also stop sending us links to apple's pages about lithium-ion batteries and how they work, battery performance etc... ITS A NEW PHONE. We need this fixed. Especially on the iPhone XR which should have more than a day's battery life!!! WAKE UP APPLE!! WE BUY PRODUCTS WITH A LOT OF EFFORT FOR SPENDING MONEY AND WE GET THIS IN RETURN. I know I'm angry but I've just had enough of this nonsense!!! :(

Ever since 13.1.1 my iphone7 will drain out even when powered off and being plugged in to power. 13.1.3 did not fix the problem. This is a serious ios bug. Once charged to 100% the phone will also require rebooting 5-10 times where the battery indicator will show almost 0% and the show 100% on reboot and bice versa. i have the screenshots to prove it.

What makes the phone drain out within an hour despite being plugged in and turned off???

Apple: Either you are better than this. Or you're not. Which is it? No battery, no worky. No worky, no Apple.

Beta test your stuff before you dump it onto us. If we can't work with you, we'll work without you. FIX IT.

And leave the photo app alone. You've screwed it up too many times already. Trying to look "new" isn't working

Really it is shame on apple and its approved maintenance shop here in jeddah (arab computer) and call center in duabi because again:

problem in battery(draining)

problem in connectivity and sound with airpods (2 times sent to them , they are telling no prob, even i did restore for my iphone and prob still there), they should give a new one as this is the 6 times going to maintenance and they are worry to get a decision for giving new one (my airpods still under warranty).

Well then, I hope iOS 13.2.1 will come out soon. Major bugs need to be fixed. Major: Battery, HomePod, WiFi connectivity and calling. I have a feeling that now because they’ve released nearly everything which was announced at WWDC 2019. It should grant them time on major improvements to the software. Five Updates in nearly 1 month. Not something that Apple has been praised for!

Yes, I have the same problem on my IPhone 7 Plus since doing the update. I chatted with Apple and they tested my battery and said it was good, then they had all these different things for me to enable and it still does it. I just paid my phone off and not getting another new one, they need to fix this problem. I have never even gotten down to 70% on my phone in a day and now before 10am it goes down to 60% with just checking my messages every once in a while. Very frustrated.

Yep I agree. It gets hot for a random reason. Go on YouTube, research articles - it heats up, playing games for 5 minutes heats up! Apple are screwing up every update. Rather than focusing on new features ,it’s better to make the software good at first and then releasing to the public. People are saying to factory reset your device. I’ve done that still nothing. I hope iOS engineers will solve this !

iPhone 6s here. With iOS 13.2 Battery goes from 100% to 70% in 2 hours. The battery graph shows a steep 60-70 degree slope. All I do is read morning news on CNN and BBC etc. I have to charge at least twice a day to keep it from dying. I now have the phone connected to a heavy external battery whenever it is in my pocket. And before you ask, it has an Apple replaced battery in good health at 88% maximum capacity.

Same issue here. Used to get at least 2 days out of the battery on my iPhone XS and since IOS upgrade I'm lucky if I get 1 day. Clearly a software fault and if it's a ruse to get me to buy another iPhone it ain't going to work. After spending £1k on this model I'm not changing for a LONG time. I'm fed up of Apple nobbling any previous models to get people to get the latest model.

Wife the same on her iPhone SE, complaining of terrible battery drain since iOS upgrade. Not sure which version of 13 it was when it started, might even have been 13.0.
