pronto app

updated to catalina now get warning pop up to move pronto app as it might damage my computer

won't go to bin when selected? anyone else experience this or know how to sort it?

This App will not Work with Future Versions of MacOS I often get this message when running this app or that, unfortunately I didn't make a list of them. is there a way to see all the apps on my system that will not work with Catalina? Strangely I get this message even when running 64bits apps so just looking for 32 bits apps won't do the trick. there are several apps that I really like and can't live without a replacement, I'de like to know in advance if there is a good alternative to this or that app. thanks

Catalina update caused a tenacious pop up. The second I updated to Catalina I got the following dialogue. "[app] is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?". The app in question was an installer that I no longer need and so I hit cancel. However this was not the end. The dialogue box will not go away, no matter what. The only thing I haven't done is hit open, because I do not want to open it. It told me when and what I downloaded so I went into my downloads and removed the file. I also tried restarting the computer. The dialogue box remains. How do I get rid of this pop up?

Hi venn65,

It seems that you might have malware.

What do can do is download a copy of Malwarebytes. After it downloads, open it and click Scan for it to remove the app and any malware that might be on your computer.
