iPhone 11 Pro Live Photo’s don’t move

My Wife and I both have iPhone 11 pros, and the Live Photo’s we take on the phone do not move when you swipe between photos? My old live photos from all my other phones still move when you swipe between them in iOS 13, which makes me think it is an 11 pro issue. It does take a Live Photo, so when you press and hold the 3 sec or so of video plays, but swiping between photos does not do anything but show stills. Does anyone else have this issue? Was this a change to the phone or iOS? Seems like Apple wouldn’t take away a feature for a phone called pro, and it was one of my favorite.

This did not fix the issue for me either. Live Photo was taken, but it did not preview when swiping in the photos app.

hm, darn. so weird because it's definitely working for me now. not sure what im doing differently on my Pro Max.

Wow. There’s hope! Yes, those are my settings too. But no preview on swipe. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

My feeling exactly! Good to know that the camera is comparable. I do like the wide angle but will give up for Live Photo preview. How about low light (night) exposure, does the X have that capability?

Thanks, but nope. I did change from Auto to Live On in the Camera app. But no difference. Again, the iPhone 11 takes Live Photo, but those taken with the iPhone 11 no longer preview on swipe. Those taken with my iPhone 7 still preview on swipe. The iPhone 11 Live Photos show when you touch the photo or the Live icon in the Photo app; otherwise, gone is that great preview feature. If you find differently, please let me know and I will keep trying ... but I do plan to take my iPhone 11 back to Apple store.

Swiping a Live Photo was never advertised as a way to view its motion.

Pressing and holding the photo is the way to make it come "live".
