mac with Catalina doesn't show my iphone in finder

How can I make my iPhone 6S show up in Finder? I am running Catalina but it wouldn't show up in iTunes before I upgraded either. Need help.

Did you try a different charging cable.

If you move your mouse over the Locations in the Finder sidebar does it reveal a "Show" option.
