Auto-Capitalization changes certain first names to all-caps

Certain first names change to ALL CAPS when I dictate them

in Text Messages. For example, if I dictate “Steve” it auto completes that name

to STEVE. If I turn off Auto-Capitalization (Settings, General, Keyboard,

Auto-Capitalization—OFF), the all-caps problem is resolved but

another one is created that is worse. The first word in a sentence, for

example, will no longer be auto-capitalized. Is there a dictionary somewhere

embedded in the iPhone that I can edit? I can edit the dictionary in Microsoft

Word to delete erroneous entries. I’m hoping there is something similar in the

iOS.
