Help Catalina doesn‘t work
Since upgrading to Catalina I can’t log in or out of AppleID properly so I have lost access to mail, safari and the App Store.
Solutions I have read include making sure Keychain is selected in the iCloud which it is. If I press ‘continue’ to update my ID, it goes nowhere and the devices list on the left in not available.
When I try to sign out, I get prompted to ‘keep a copy’, I click on this and get a message saying that iCloud needs to finish updating before continuing to sign out. It never stops so I click to ask it to stop and continue to log out. I get another message asking to continue with sign out, I click on this.
when I finally get to enter my AppleID password it doesn’t go anywhere and I get an error message saying there was an error connecting to the AppleID server. I’ve tried on three different wifi connections so I don’t believe it’s a connection error on my side.
Any ideas as to how I can get around this problem?
