iCloud family member privacy from one another...?

If I backup all my photos, messages etc to iCloud will family members whose devices are also under my name be able to see my photos on their devices? They don’t have access to our iCloud yet but probably should. Can we be private from one another in the same iCloud?

iPhone XS, iOS 13

It depends on exactly what you mean by " devices are also under my name"

If you mean that they use your Apple ID and password, they can access everything you can access.

If they have their own Apple IDs (as they should) and you are using Family Sharing, they don't have access to anything you don't share with them. If you share a storage plan, see the following from Share an iCloud storage plan with your family - Apple Support

When you share a storage plan, your photos and documents stay private and everyone keeps using their own accounts with iCloud—just like when you have your own storage plan. You simply share the space available in the iCloud storage plan with your family members, so you only have one plan to manage.

Thank you!! I ‘own’ my kids devices (as in they’re purchased in my name/billed to me etc) but they have their own AppleIDs although they use my ID to get into Apple Music (they don’t know the password though - I put that in). Should be OK...? Or should they use their own AppleIDs for Apple Music too & somehow share my subscription. Sorry, I ream a novice at this.
