I have been unable to share Photos albums inside folders with Apple TV 4K since the Catalina upgrade. Only albums in the top level of My Albums in Photos are successfully shared with Apple TV. The funny thing is that when I try to share albums inside a folder, the folder appears on the Apple TV, but without any albums inside. The Apple TV 4K was updated to tvOS 13.

I finally got the idea last night to try Home Sharing -> Share photos with Apple TV -> Share Photos from: Photos -> Share: All photos and albums instead of Share: Selected albums. Wouldn't you know that actually worked with albums inside nested folders in my Photos library.
I spent about two hours reorganizing my albums into folders including nested folders like I had before the Catalina upgrade. All of these folders are available in Apple TV, which is much better than scrolling down through dozens of albums.
I would prefer to select albums to share with Apple TV, but I can live with sharing all photos and albums.
