Swipe keyboard in iOS 13.1.3 for iPad?

Hello, I’m using an iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen and have recently updated to iOS 13.1.3.

With the iOS 13 update on the iPhone, we were given the swipe feature on our keyboard. I was under the impression that the iPad would also receive a swipe feature, and from what I found online, going to Settings> Keyboard> Slide on floating keyboard, and making sure it’s enabled should do the trick. The problem is that this does not work. So my question is this; Did the update on the iPad actually get the swipe feature? Is it just mine that is broken? Or is it supposed to be working and just glitched?

Hello,

iPad’s QuickPath keyboard only works when iPad’s on-screen keyboard is in floating mode. Perform a pinch-in gesture on iPad’s on-screen keyboard to enter floating keyboard mode.

the make the keyboard float, you need to use the pinch gesture on the keyboard. To do that, take your thumb and pointer and place the a few inches apart on the keyboard and pinch them together. It’ll make the keyboard really small, but it’ll be “floating”.
