apple tv aerial screensaver

I have found something that worked for me. If select computers icon and pick the machine that has your photos. You can then view the pictures on that computer. Once you view the photos you can then make it the screen saver. That seems to stick and work. Sorry doing this from memory. If you have issues I can update with the screens.

I tried resetting & updating one of my two (2) Apple TVs to see if I could get the Home Sharing Photos to "stick" as the screen saver. While it let me select Home Sharing, it later reverted back to the Aerial set of images for the screensaver.

I wish this would be addressed. I am running tvos 13.2 FYI.

same issue with my Apple TV, I'm not sure what trigger the screensaver back to Aerial after select a shared album in My Photos. In my case is overnight, when we turn Apple TV off, next day is showing Aerial once again. Another issue is to load the shared album after select once again in settings, as the Apple TV show a black screen due some issue to load the album for some time.

I have 2 Apple TV devices, one 4k and another one not. both in iOS 13.

Happens on all 3 of my Apple TV’s. I gave up trying to fix it. Apparently Apple did too.

I have been having this problem for awhile too.

I just got on the phone with Apple.

They said it is a known issue, they are working on it, and it will be fixed in a future update.
