I’m unable to login with my Apple ID on fire stick. I’ve tried both “sign i with mobile” and sign in on TV” I get an error with both. I’ve cleared my data, reset the device, and uninstalled the app. Fire stick recently updated.

I ran into the same issue on Oct 30 with the Fire Stick 4K. To resolve it here is what I did. Go to Settings>My Fire TV>About>check for update. Follow the instructions to perform update (It took three times doing this to get all updates installed). After that sign on was a breeze. Did not have to do a factory reset.

This is a good piece of advice to try.
i hadn’t tried checking for updates, believing (foolishly?) that the device must auto-update.
However after doing a factory reset it did update itself, so manually checking for updates could save time and trouble.
A few people on these forums have reported that a factory reset of the Fire TV Stick helped. It was the only action that worked for me.
