Measuring vo2 max

I have a series 3 watch. I can’t get a VO2 max measurement. I have recorded multiple exercise sessions using the outdoor run and outdoor walk recordings. All sessions have been at least 25 mins and the measured heart rate has been in excess of 169 bpm. Why can’t I get a reading?
