I get this message on my watch saying enter the password for your Apple ID

This week my watch updated to OS 6.0.1 and a day or so later I now get this message on my watch saying enter the password for your Apple ID....it says to use the keyboard on watch which doesn't work and says to use your phone. So i hit cancel and it comes back about 6 more times and I repeat using the cancel button and then it seems to be good for the rest of the day. However in the morning when I take my watch out of the charger it starts all over again.

Anyone else have this situation.
