Microphone has started adding the word "catch" or "catch up" to what I have dictated

I am also having the same problem. Sometimes at the end the word “ also appears.

This is been happening for over a week .

I have this problem, too, and it seems to be getting worse. Happens on both desktop and iOS, in all apps that support dictation. Hopefully Apple will fix soon.

I get Chachi, catch up, catch, catchy. Almost every time, and it is getting more frequent!

The “catch” and “catch up” Is probably debug code from the developers. It sure is a nuisance.

I am also a retired developer. I would do something like this during unit testing, but remove before final testing. Regression testing should discover and remove, but that doesn't always happen.

Definitely looks like someone left their debug in production code. Whoops for that team!
