Get internet if boot into safe mode. turn off computer, turn on while holding left shift button. Should see Safe mode in red in upper right corner. log on with you password open browser & should work. left apple chat with reinstalling 10.15.1 and wasted another 35 minutes getting nothing on internet either thru ethernet or wifi. I will pick up with them in the morning as it is too late to deal with it. Apple's faulty os releases makes me think they are trying to mirror microsoft. This didn't happen in the past & is what made apple. SMH
Intego have told me that they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. They'll e-mail me as soon as they (or Apple) have a fix.
The fix is actually simple. Do not install intego or other useless stuff.
Just updated to MAC OS 10.15.1and now Safari takes a lot of time loading sites. Every other Apple product we own works fine, but they have not been updated to Catalina Thankfully.
Absolutely and I can't even install the new update as it keeps failing.
Apple, what are you doing to us?
Thanks that worked. Once the download was installed and the computer reboot it started to work. Again, thanks for the assistance. Have a beautiful day.
Problem solved. Was an Intego issue. After checking, the Intego update kicked in on the mini automatically before I had the chance to update on my other Macs.
Wait when a new version is released .... many times there are bugs that they will fix in the next versions . Apple , at this lap , made many mistakes
Read up on the rest of the thread. The issues have been identified as associated with third party security software such as intego and trend micro. Disabling them solves the problem.
I got on the internet but it does not last. Whatever it is it keeps freezing my
computer.
Apply the Intego update. This will fix the browsing speed consideable.

You should not be running sophos.
Go to System Preferences->Network, select Ethernet and click Advanced...
What do you see under:
a) DNS
b) Proxies
Compare with the respective settings for Wifi.
Continual crashing even after an apparent solving of the problem even if it is a short time only to get worse as time goes by!
Probably like me you jump around a lot of hardware when you switch to wifi. Cables, connections, switches etc....

Tell that to my Corporate Security team.... Anyway, I've tested this without Sophos installed and the issue persists, so it's not related to Anti-Virus.
