iOS 13 Suggested Contacts in Messages App

Prior to iOS 13, when starting a new message and I started typing the name of the contact it would display a list of suggested contacts to choose from. Since I've updated to iOS13 that list is now displaying old suggestions that I haven't texted in over a year. It is also displaying groups that I don't remember.

In prior iOS's you could edit the list by clicking on the 'i' and removing it. Now that option doesn't appear and there doesn't seem to be any way to update the list. There also doesn't seem to be a way to just turn off suggestions. If anyone has some answers I'd appreciate it.

The update didn't fix the problem. This is a major issue because you can accidentally select a contact or group from the list of suggestions and send a text to people you don't want to. There needs to be an ability to edit the suggested contact list like there used to be in prior iOS versions.
