Hey, does anyone know how to permanently disable the ipad from sending a message in any messaging platform on the ‘enter’ keystroke. Sometimes I just want to separate thoughts or make a list, and then it sends it instead and it has lead to some really weird messages. I just want it to stop!

That’s kinda the point. I want it to stop doing this across the board. I don’t want it send when I press ‘enter’ in iMessaging, Facebook, FB messenger, WhatsApp, kijiji, GOALLINE, Skype... anything. I want it to only send when I press the send button.

Return key on the key board will insert lines. Unless you press send icon (See the Pic below) in the text box the message will not be sent.
Apple doesn't control facebook, Facebook's WhatsApp or any of the apps you mention.
