Can’t sign into my Apple ID or use Facetime/Messages since updating to iPadOS

Please can someone help with this? Since updating my iPad to iPadOS both Facetime and Messages are faded out. I can see that I am signed into my account but both Facetime and Messages can’t be used as they are faded out on the screen. Any help would be ace. Thanks

Have you checked Settings/Screen Time for any restrictions?

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device

If necessary

Hard reset

If there are Screen Time restrictions and you can't turn them off, you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.

If there aren't any restrictions, do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
