FaceTime and iMessages aren’t working on my iPad. I’ve tried everything I can find online but no help.

When I go to iMessages to turn off, I only get the sign in screen. I input my password(which I just changed) and the message I get is that I can’t be signed into FaceTime. I never use FaceTime but when I went to FaceTime , it was trying to sign in too.

If you are experiencing difficulties with Messaging and/or FaceTime, start here:

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


If you continue to experience difficulties, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.


Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
