Blank screen when sending photo

If I am in photos and I click share then messages, the message box pops up but is blank and never lets me enter a recipient or sometimes when I click messages it just hangs, nothing pops up and I have to kill photos to get it unstuck. I am able to send the message if I copy the photo, then open messages from the home screen then paste the photo. It is not an issue with iMessage sending, but the handoff where iMessage pops up to let me select a recipient. Started on iOS 13.1.2 I think currently happening on iPhone XS iOS 13.2.

Same here. I can get it to work again if I turn my phone off and restart it, but that just seems to work for a few minutes, and then I go back to the situation as you described it. And if I try to do it by starting "in the message" instead of starting in Photos, it is like the messaging app can't see my photos, and that panel is blank also. So annoying.

I am having the same issue since the update and it happens anytime I press share and pick an app to share with. I can try to share a website and when it lists options to send by email or text or iMessage and direct contacts etc..., it then pulls up a blank recipient screen and I have to shut down whatever I was trying to send. I have to go directly into email or message or whatever and then pick an item to share. Which doesn’t always give me the option of what I’m trying to share. What gives?
