Previously used apps reopen since update to Catalina!

Despite unchecking "Reopen windows when logging back in" from the shut down menu, AND checking "Close windows when quitting an app" from General settings, whenever I log into my computer the apps that I've used during the last session pop up automatically.

This is frustrating and I haven't been able to find a solution online!

Hi, Leo. It is said that some computers crash, or even restart themselves, especially when being left unused for several hours.

This random crash/freezing/restarting issue appears to happen more often on newer Macs. Currently there’s still no proven tools to deal with it.

If the crushes really bother you, you could try reinstalling MacOS Catalina, or downgrading to MacOS Mojave, though that is obviously not desirable or practical for many users.
