Kernel Panic after upgrade to 10.15.1

Dear all

I was very pleased with Catalina, but yesterday after upgrading to 10.15.1 I continuously get Kernel Panic on my MP6.1.

Sometimes it happens after wake up from sleep, sometimes after safari browsing.

I have two thunderbolt 2 external raid attached.

Please find below the KP log. Can someone help me reading it?

Turning off BOTH "Power Nap" AND "Put hard disks to sleep" seems to have worked for me. (These are both in System Preferences > Energy Saver).

I haven't actually tried all possible combinations, but:

PowerNap ON/HD Sleep ON →panic occurs

PowerNap ON/HD Sleep OFF → panic occurs

PowerNap OFF/HD Sleep ON → haven't tried yet

PowerNap OFF/HD Sleep OFF → No panic!

IOAHCIBlockStorageDriver::CommandTimeout!

See attached Kernel_2019-12-17-100020_ss-eng-esutton.panic

Repeatable Steps to Reproduce

1) Power-up and let computer sleep

2) Wake computer, enter password, see spinning beach ball

3) Kernel panic crash

Lucky you : catalina 10.15.0 or 10.15.1 ou 10.15.2 = s.s.d.d. Solutions like no sleep for the hard drive or no screen savers are like a plaster on a wooden leg... it is like cutting the water supply to make sure the electricity supply will work... service tech at Apple told me to be happy to use those solutions. I told him they need to fix the problem. I had problems with Catalina an with its predessessor. From now on I will wait at least 6 months before downloading a new O.S. I understand well that every possible situation cannot be tested before roll-out but external HD on Thunderbolt 3 is very not uncommon...

You're not the only one.

I bought a 5k$ Mac mini in 2018 and put together a Windows PC early 2019 as well after 18 years of using Mac only.

I bought 2 iPhone 11Pro Max last year, one for me and one for my wife.

With all the serious problems I'm having that Apple neglects to resolve and the useless support (clean install is the only answer these "Geniuses" have) I'm seriously considering to sell my Mac and iPhones, continue with my PC and get me two Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus.
