Since Catalina photo types have been HEIC instead of jpg. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Smugmug all give me errors when I try to upload photos now. Some have unknown file type. Others just won't let you choose certain photos.
Any solutions?
Try the following: Select the photos you want to share and use "file > Export > Export ... Photos". Save them to a folder on the Desktop as JPG files. Then upload the saved JPGs.

Thanks. I've done that. It's just a pain when you've done a photo shoot & have 100+ to upload. I don't know why Apple changed the extension.
