1) 'The document “*.numbers” could not be opened. ' and 2) '"untitled" can't be opened right now. Numbers couldn't read the file'

1) occurs when I try to open ANY

numbers file. 2) happens when I try to save the current "untitled.numbers" file that is open, created from a new file. I've rebooted and reloaded Numbers. I'm able to access some files using a browser at iCloud.com but not with Numbers on my Mac.

Numbers V. 6.2 (6520)

Macbook Pro running 10.15.1

MacBook Pro, OS X 10.11

Open 'Activity Monitor', and type 'filecoordinationd' in the top right search bar (this should filter only that process)
Then, double click on it, and on the details window, click 'Quit'.
It will give you an alert that this process is owned by 'root'. Select 'Force Quit' just to make sure it will :)
