Change "Sent with Siri"?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I understand you have some questions about Siri and Messages. I am happy to provide some information.

When sending a message with Siri, it is expected that the person receiving the message will see "Sent with Siri". While there is not an option to disable this feature, we are always wanting to hear from you about what features and settings you would like to see changed. Adding a post here that says, "I agree" is not getting the word to Apple. This is a user to user support forum and Apple does not participate here. This feature is pointless. It is annoying and there needs to be a way to disable it.

Make this optional! It’s nobody’s business how I compose my iMessages. Apple claims to be sooooo concerned with peoples privacy - fine, prove it, let ME control what information I share.

Unbelievable. I swear if apple wants to promote Siri, this must be disabled immediately. This is the reason Apple will never succeed I’m the AI industry, because Siri is very inefficient and time consuming. Every person who talks English can speak faster than Siri, and doesn’t need to wait 15 minutes for it to stop talking. If you want to fix Siri, disabling “sent with Siri” is definitely a start.

I agree. This should be an optional feature, as it potentially implies information to the receiver I may not want implied. This is an antithesis to privacy.

Apple is the richest company in the world. That means they have succeeded more than every company in the world.

I just sent a complaint to Apple about this using the link posted above. Thank's Becky for reminding us of the right way to handle this. :-)
