Itunes remote: Where's the remote icon gone?

I've been trying to connect my iPhone up to iTunes using the remote app, and setting it up manually it asks me to click the remote button near the top left of the iTunes window.

Can anyone point out to me where it is, because I certainly can't see it!

iTunes remote button not appearing I'm trying to use the remote app for my Mac and iPhone. My iTunes is running version 12.9.4.94 and my iPhone is running version iOS 12.3 (both up to date; to my knowledge) I'm having trouble connecting the remote app to iTunes on my Mac, I can get a code to appear on my iPhone but cannot get the remote button to appear in iTunes. I've got home sharing turned on but nothing appears. Also, I read on here somewhere that some people had to open iTunes before generating the code from their phone, so I tried this but it made no difference either. iTunes Remote app not connecting to iTunes MacBook Pro running Big Sur Version 11.4 iPhone 11 running iOS 14.6 Since updating to Big Sur 11.4, when I try to connect to the iTunes library in the Remote app on my iPhone, it just stays on “Connecting to my Library…” in the app without ever actually connecting. The phone shows up in iTunes and I’m able to enter the code it provides to link the two, but it never actually connects. Any ideas on how to fix? Thank you.
