“EPSON Scan.app” needs to be updated for Catalina.

Since updating to Catalina, my Epson XP-200 printer still prints from my iMac and it works as a copier, but the scanner and the "Event Manager" don't work. When I open the scanner app, a popup says:

“EPSON Scan.app” needs to be updated.

The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.

When I open the Event Manager (which allowed my wife's tablet to use my printer) a popup says:

Epson Event Manager

Cannot find the scanner. Install your scanner driver software.

When I run Epson Software Updater, it says my Epson software is up to date. I've tried searching for the missing driver, checked both Epson issues and MacOS Catalina issues and I get nothing but dead ends.
