iOS 13 text editing issues

Don't know why my thread disappeared without notice. I simply asked for a way to disable or work around the following issues related to text editing that were introduced with iOS 13:

1. Text menu (with Copy, Paste, etc) sometimes doesn't appear, including in Notes;
2. In text menu, Paste sometimes doesn't appear (although "Paste and Go" still might in Safari);
3. Cursor sometimes doesn't jump to where tapped while editing;
4. Text sometimes can't be selected regardless of selection method used (including multi-tapping or holding);
5. Links now have huge bounding boxes making it almost impossible to select surrounding text;
6. Text objects in some apps cannot be moved, easily or at all, possibly due to how the cursor interacts now.

All of the above are still present in iOS 13.2. Already reported to Apple, just looking for workaround advice in the meantime or maybe a setting I missed.
