Air print problems for Samsung: Xpress M2835DW

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)/Samsung: Xpress M2835DW

I've recently updated to MacOS Catalina 10.15.1 Printers and Scanners folder shows Samsung M283x Series (SEC30CDA7904B08) Bonjour as available driver for AirPrint.

But I get continual printing of single/double lines of 'random' letters and symbols to one side of A4

I get periodic alerts of “Secautosetup” cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be update. Contact the developer for more information.

My multiple efforts to find compatible/useable downloads at Samsung download centre has failed.

Which software update do i need and where can I get it?

Many thanks for your time and trouble...

I have the same issue. Apple is unable to help, and unless you have a warranty, HP will not help either. The short answer is HP needs to do an update, and they are not going to, so Apple's solution is to discard your printer and find one that works with Catalina. Apple gave all the manufactures time to supply their customers with the update; HP refused to help.

The only option with Apple is to downgrade from Catalina, which I did, and I regret doing it now.
