Switching to Apple Music from iTunes Match

What's the best practice and steps for a long time iTunes Match person (over 25k songs) who wants to switch and start using Apple Music? I don't want to pay for both and would like to make the switch as seamless and painless as possible. Should I sign up to Apple Music first and then turn off and then cancel Match? Any suggestions on which order to take these steps would be appreciated!

Hi,

Both ITunes Match and Apple Music use the same iCloud music library. Your music will have already been matched so there will be no need for the music to be matched again. Therefore you should subscribe to Apple Music whilst you still have iTunes Match. As iTunes Match is an annual contract, you should turn off automatic renewal subscription. You can have both until Match expires. Make sure that your music has been downloaded and backed up.
