Why is my Apple TV app not recognizing my subscription?

I got a free one year subscription to Apple TV+ and I can watch it on my browser by going to tv.apple.com and logging in but I can’t watch on Apple TV app as it shows a screen which says your saved content will appear here. And there are no other buttons or menus to allow me to log in. My Apple TV app settings are correct in my setup section. Can any one help add to why my Apple TV app is not recognizing my subscription?

Solved it. Go to settings, iTunes and apps, click on your Apple ID, sign out and sign in again. The subscription started showing in Apple TV app after that.

I googled some solutions and learned that my purchase history shows my Apple tv+ subscription, but my subscription section in iTunes and Apps doesn’t show any subscription. Is it because I’m traveling and in a country where Apple TV+ is not activated yet which is why the app is not being able to connect?
