Where is the playback speed button for Podcasts on iPHONE 8+?

My podcasts playback too fast. Support says adjust using playback speed button. I cannot locate on my iPHONE 8+. Where is it located?

Podcast controls will not stay on my iphone xr lock screen From time to time my podcast controls will not stay on my iphone xr lock screen or they will not show up at all. I have turned the phone off and back on to get the function back on my lock screen before and now that isn't working. This has been happening since I bought the phone. I really would like someone from apple to explain why this keeps happening and what can I do to get the podcast controls back on my lock screen without having to turn my phone off and on or resetting my phone. Apple should have a better way with dealing with this issue.

In the podcast app, what does the download arrow with a pause mean? I have lots of podcast subscriptions in the podcast app on my iPhone (iOS 14.5.1). Some of them show a down arrow (I guess it means "download"), but with a small "pause" icon, too. What does it mean? Does it mean the podcast is not updated by the app? How can I resume it? Thanks a lot in advance.

In the screenshot below you can see that the option is below the volume slider, in the bottom left. It is set to "2 x".
