Notes disappeared after wiping Mac

Hi everyone, a few days ago I had to wipe my Mac to revert back to Mojave because Catalina just wasn't working for me. I transferred the notes I had on my Memo app to the Notes app on my mac and saved them before wiping my Mac. Unfortunately after the wipe, I realised that I hadn't synced the notes to icloud as the notes were nowhere to be found and I had some very very important things in there! I feel so incredibly stupid, but is there any way to recover the notes that I had on my mac, despite the fact that the sync to icloud was not on?
