i want to update my macos to mojave from highsierra, but there's no notif update in appstore. could i update it anyway? my macbook is air 2017

How do I update my macbook pro when i can't find the update in the app store? I been trying to update my mac to at least sierra from El capitan? However when I go to update it I'm unable to find the update even when i search up Sierra in the app store. It's also not in system preferences. I don't care very much about what is on the mac right now I just need Sierra or higher to run a program. The model is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) with version 10.11.6 (15G22010).

How do I update to the latest macOS? I need to update my MacBook to OS v10.15, however whenever I go to the app store I get a message that there are no updates to be installed. How do I update to the latest macOS?

Log into the App Store and search for Mojave.
