I have a ringtone on my phone that I was able to play, because it was saved in Itunes.
That also means that if something happens to my phone I could reproduce it.
It no longer shows up in music on either my Imac or Iphone because I have updated both to the latest operating systems.
On my Imac the name shows up, but nothing plays. How can I get it back.
At this time it still rings on my phone, so I want to also move it back to music.

I called Apple the person I got on the phone didn't think that ring tones on the phone could be placed back into music.
He said it could only go the other way around.
But he did say, that if it is on the phone, and it is backed up to Icloud, then you will always have it when you reload a phone from the Icloud backup.

I did quite a few custom ring tones that I would like to download from my phone but can't find a way to do it now that it has switched to Finder.
I guess I am greedy. I was hoping to recover them to share and not have to create from scratch. Oh well. Thanks
