AirPods Pro weird noise on one ear

I changed from noise cancelling to transparency then off for a little amount of time and the sound has went away

I have that problem too and what I usually do is press on the long part of the airpod until you hear like a beep and that gets rid of the weird sound for me

Like I said. Contact Apple via their Support. I had this two times and both times Apple send me a new AirPod within 24 hours.

Mine is like a feedback noise from a speaker and happens when I switch between transparency and noise cancellation I took them to the store today, they will review them. Hopefully I will get a replacement.

I do have the exact same problem is not a constant hissing noise like other have complaint, in my case is only on the left side and as you said when you press the AirPod makes that weird noise in my case other people can hear it, but when I removed the silicone tip and try doesn’t happened at all so it’s super weird

I've got this exact same issue too. If I talk too loud, breathe weirdly, or even clench my jaw there will be an intensely annoying burst of static. Left ear only. I thought for a minute I had blown the speaker but I've noticed a lot of people have the same issue and have solved it by forgetting and reconnecting the Bluetooth. Sadly, that didn't work for me.

Any other suggestions or workarounds?

I have exactly the same issue with my right Airpods Pro.

Weird scratching / echoing noise, sometimes to the extent I can feel it shaking in both NC and Transparency but not in Off mode.

Apple support is sending me new "ear tips" not new "AirPods Pro" to see if that fixes it which is ridiculous because we already tried the full set of small, medium, large eartips and even switching the ear tip with the left side (which works fine) did not resolve the issue.

Now I need to wait a week or so for those eartips to arrive and if they do not work, need to call again to make a replacement.

My ear pod pro, left ear drumming / buzzing noise only starts when noise cancelling is activated. I’ve tried draining the battery in the pods and the charger, then re-charging. No change. Seems it’s a product fault Apple.

Mine has the noise go away after charging (only made the noise directly out of the box).

My replacement buda arrrived today so far so goood.

AirPods pot firmware update is out. Maybe it fixes this issue. I will check today and revert.

I have the same problem. Also when pushing it in the ear to tighten produce the weird noise. Only happen to my left ear. I tried it with my friend's ear but he doesn't have this problem. Maybe it's ear specific problem?

got my AirPods pro today and having the same issue on the right speaker. A weird scratching noise like static. It only happens on active noise canceling and transparency mode. Tried to reset them but the problem insists.

I have the same problem since the purchase! It's a shame for Apple. Unfortunately I have no Apple Store in my country to visit it so writing here. I have constant problems with the right earphone in noise canceling mode. I constantly hear some terrible ultrasound, and it seems to me that it can even damage my ear. Is there any specific solution to this problem? Or should I just put up that I bought the trash for $249+?

Same issue!! Its in my right ear. It only happens on NC or Transparency. Its awful feedback sound like a microphone too close to a speaker. I think thats the problem. How to fix it? Who knows, but now it happens every time I talk to someone on the phone in either of these modes. What a waste!!
