How to speed up an animation created in iMovie

Hello, I've created an animation in iMovie, with 68 images and each image in the timeline is cropped to 'fit' and the duration for each image in the timeline is set to the minimum allowable at 0.01 second. The final iMovie is 0.09 seconds. I would like the final movie to be 0.05 seconds, if possible.

Is there a way of speeding up the final animation?

I've looked on the search topics and a similar question was asked many years ago and there was an answer with a link that's no longer available. It would be great to know either way, if there's a way to do this, or not

thank you!

Share out the movie as is. It will then be a video clip. Then import it back into a newly created iMovie project. Since it is a video clip you can now use the speed editor feature to speed it up. To do that, Control-click on the clip in the timeline. Select "Show Speed Editor" in the drop down menu that appears. A little gray slider handle will appear in the upper right of the clip. Put your cursor on the handle and, while pressing down, slide the handle to the left to speed up the clip and to the right to slow down the clip. As you slide you will see the little clip duration indicator in the upper left of the clip show your duration changing as you slide the handle. See if that accomplishes what you want.
